Apparently it takes me a year to complete something off this list, so I reckon I'll need to start hurrying up (unless I think I'll live for another 100 years or so).
Once again I went back to Florida during the summer holidays, and it just so happened that while I was there, Warped Tour would be at the Central Florida Fairgrounds, so I got tickets to go as two of my favourite bands were going to be there (All Time Low and We Are The In Crowd).
Seeing as I had never been to a festival before (obviously), I had no idea what to expect, but it was definitely an amazing experience - both bands weren't on until the evening, so that gave me the rest of the day to explore all the stalls there (however, I had forgotten that there wasn't going to be much shaded area there, and so ended up with terrible sunburn across my chest and on my arms - ALWAYS REMEMBER SUNCREAM PEOPLE).
We Are The In Crowd had their signing first, so I got a birthday card for my friend signed, then my mother got a top I'd just bought signed, and finally my dad got one of those postcard things signed (I honestly didn't realise they'd be at the signing). Sadly, Mike wasn't there, but it was still cool to see them (a quick funny story - Jordan was the only one to look at the front of the card (picture below), and he said that he liked his hair).
So after the WATIC signing, I had half an hour to wait before my drum lesson with Rob from WATIC (during which time my parents left me to find shade as we hadn't gotten used to the Florida heat yet), and sadly I was the worst person there, but it was still a lot of fun - he taught us the beginning of Kiss Me Again, and now I've nearly forgotten it all. Once the lesson had finished, he said that we could have pictures with him, which strangely surprised me because I honestly didn't except him to say that.
Once the drum lesson was done, I had to rush over to the All Time Low signing which had awkwardly started at the same time as the drum lesson, though luckily it was only a few stalls away and they were still signing. When I got to the front of the queue, the first person I saw was Jack, who gave me a high five and said that the poster I'd brought to get signed was a good picture (once I'd looked at the poster after they'd signed it, I saw that he'd put a star and a smiley face by his signature, which made me extremely happy).
A couple of hours later it was ATL's set, which lasted for about 45 minutes, and since they had been told they couldn't swear on stage, instead Alex and Jack decided to talk about impregnating everyone, group showers, and how Florida was sweaty balls weather - which didn't impress my mother at all, whom I didn't realise was watching it.
To finish off the day was WATIC's set, which had less people in the crowd, but there was still an amazing energy to it, and I really didn't want it to end at all.
So overall, Warped Tour was brilliant, and I would strongly recommend that people go if they haven't, because it's just one of those experiences that you need to have at least once in your life.
